Completing The Trilogy

Today's Workout: CycleOps - 60 min

Most sequels tend to be a let down - so a Trilogy, a successful Trilogy, that is the rare few: Rocky I, III & III, the first Star Wars, Empire & Jedi and The Godfather I, II, & III - they are the triumvirate of Triologies. Not much else compares.

Until now.

I've been lucky. As the role of Triathlete in My Inner Athlete, I had some Oscar winning performances on the race course. In my encore performance as a Marathoner in My Life in Spandex, while it was not award winning material, the journey more than lent itself to a Lifetime Achievement Award.

And now, it's time to complete the Trilogy - the final installment, it's time. It's time to become a Century Rider. And moving up from cameo appearances to a supporting role and sidekick, my longtime trusted companion in all things endurance - Dale.

October 15th. Vegas.

And once again the subplot of all my great races will be to support and raise money for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society:

Move over Sly. Move over Brando. It's time for history to make room for the next great Trilogy. Starring LG & Dale.
